This is the part 1 of How to Fix My Internet Connection. This is a No Sync No Surf scenario.


What is SYNC?

Sync is a term used to describe the communication between your computer or any home networking devices and your Internet Service Provider who provides you DSL Signal.
When you are experiencing no sync issue, it simply means:

      
·         You can’t connect to the internet.
·         You are not getting DSL signal from your internet service provider.
·         Broadband or DSL light in your modem is solid red, flashing green or flashing red.
·         Cables (DSL cable) connected to your wall or phone jack from your modem or router are damaged and are not working properly.
·         Your phone line is not filtered properly or there is something wrong with your phone.
o   If you don’t have a landline or home phone, your DSL cable should not be filtered.
·         Filter is damaged.
·         Possible Electromagnetic Interference or Radio Frequency Interference.
·         There is a problem within your ISP’s network or what they call “outage”.
·          You already have defective a modem.
